WordPress has added a new widget. “Social Vibe”
…somethin-somethin…people click…blah-blah…somethin-somethin….and bada-bing, the cause of your choice is helped.
I’m thinking, “Sweet, I hope they have a dog friendly, animal charity….like Best Friends.” 
Imagine my anger and horror when I saw, featured front and center, the dog killers (and very “pit bull” unfriendly)
Excuse me if I don’t join hands and sing a rousing, feel good rendition of kum-ba-effin-yah.
Instead of clicking away and feeling good about myself, I clicked to remove the entire widget instead. (and was still angry)
Well choose a different one…
That’s NOT the point.
The point is, PETA is still deceiving well meaning, good-hearted people; and they are still reaping profit$ from their murderous lies
Shame on WordPress for not researching their “charities”
There are other ways of helping the helpless.
Actions speak louder than words…or self congratulatory clicks. So until I’m a millionaire who can start her own “Dog Town-like sanctuary” I figure raising what I have to be “myth-busters” is a decent start.
Now you’ll have to excuse me, as I have three well exercised, and now very tired “natural born killers” waiting for me on the couch.

Let’s not forget the HSUS
HSUS, for example, makes millions, but does not operate a single animal shelter. They could be saving countless lives, but instead they concern themselves with pushing for the destruction of Michael Vick’s dogs, while on the other hand begging for money to care for them. (HSUS didn’t have custody of any of Vick’s dogs. I wonder where those donations went?)
